Not
wanting to stop the incredible flow of creative juices and inspiration
from her inspiring work with Tehching, she jumped into a long-term
performance titled, 7 YEARS OF LIVING ART. She really, really, really
wanted to find out for her self about energy, [()]
about what is happening to not only the body, but to the Mystical
Body as well. Little Linda had numerous public museum and gallery
performance collaborations with many Creative Chakra Collaborators
including Minnette Lehmann and Annie Sprinkle. As well as the friendship/support/work
of other generous Chakraettes who gave flying wings to her art/life:
____________ (place your name here - you know who you are and are
too numerous to mention). So she created a seven year journey and
each year was represented by a different color, and different sound;
she made one drawing each year, and now, hold onto your seat belts
and take a journey through THE SEVEN CHAKRAS.

WHAT
LITTLE LINDA LEARNED FROM THE YEARS 1984 - 1991
1. Intuition is a good friend. Irony is sometimes better.
2. Giving ourselves the absolutely best job that we need to "shine"
is inherent in our nature.
3. Self-discipline can never become self-punishment or it will backfire.
4. If you need to be a priest, and are a woman, then make rules
that are non-consequential, creative and fun and proceed to break
them so you can forgive yourself.
5. Life will open the chakras much more naturally than an imposed
discipline ever could if the intention is in place.
6. Intention is everything.
7. Wearing one-color of clothes every day, a different color each
year, allows the mind to play with and defy habituation and keeps
the mind alert and conscious to purpose. When you look down at what
you are wearing and see only purple, you remember to remember and
that exercises attention states/consciousness. (Art becomes meditation.)
8. The purpose of art is to create a silent mind and open heart.
The art is secondary to the purpose and when the purpose is achieved,
art can be dropped if it is an impediment to consciousness.
9. It takes courage, art sponsors, curators, collectors, archivists,
friends, critics, art historians, etc. to co-create work that is
non-conversant with the mainstream.
10. If you set yourself up as an authority figure/counselor even
in an art context (New Museum of Contemporary Art) and consistently
appear there (once a month for seven years), the audience will cooperate
with your intention.
